Basic eczema care steps:

Eczema affects 20-30% of children in the US. This common skin condition can be hard for both kids and mom.

Here we break down to two basic skincare steps for your little ones:

Step 1:

Gentle Wash -

If your little one (especially newborn or infant) suffers from eczema, cradle cap or other common skin rash, it is important to know that wash your baby daily or using harsh soap/shampoo will likely exacerbate his or her condition. In general, bathing or gentle washing 3-4 times a week might be just enough.

Use a mild (preferrable fragrance free) wash is crucial.  LEMYKA multi-purpose shampoo, body wash, and bath is especially designed for sensitive and eczema-prone skin. This pH balanced wash thoroughly cleanses off dirt, sweat without leaving skin dry. A little goes a long way!

Step 2:

Skin Hydration

Skin hydration is the most important step to restore healthy skin among eczema sufferers. We recommend that you use a strong moisturizer for your little one.  While petrolatum-based moisturizer is thick, this petrochemical also tends to be greasy and non-breathable (it basically sits on the top of the skin like a plastic film!).

LEMYKA creates moisturizers based on the skin structure. Our hydrating cream is concentrated with phyto-nutrients that the skin needs to restore its natural balance. It is a long-lasting moisturizer yet leaves no greasy mess! It is gentle enough for face. For body, we recommend LEMYKA Body Milk.
